Blackhawk Steak Pit - (Near Oregon, IL)

3 /5 Dwyer: Not as good as it used to be. I love the location and atmosphere. Somewhat classy place. Great service. For the price youre paying, the taste and quality of meat doesnt track. If youre asking for A1 at a steak house.. theyre not doing it right. With that being said dessert was delicious. We decided wed only come back for drinks because theyre tastey & the bar is quiet and has comfy loungers.

5 /5 Jeff Kagay: We just celebrated our 12 yr anniversary at the Blackhawk steak pit. Heard some nice things about this place and I read the reviews, some great some not so great. As for me and my wife we loved it! The service was great even while being pretty busy. Salad bar very nice and our dinner was awesome. I had the porterhouse steak just as I wanted it. Wife had the kabobs. No complaints, everything was really good. And for dessert raspberry cheesecake perfect. So 5 stars from me great job, well be back!

5 /5 Grace Stubblefield: We celebrated my son’s 18th birthday at Blackhawk Steakpit with almost 30 people, and everything was perfect. The service was amazing, and the food is always phenomenal. It’s one of our favorite places for family gatherings, great food, great atmosphere, and a place where we can truly catch up and enjoy time together.

3 /5 Lori: Thought we would try for an anniversary dinner. Very disappointed in the quality of the steak. Flavor was good because of the charcoal taste but so grissly that I could not eat. Waitress was great, took the cost of my steak off the bill but it turned me off that I would not return. Best part of my meal was a beer and baked potato as very good.
