5 /5 ian west: I have been eating here with my dad for 20 years and have always been perfectly satisfied from the jumbo dogs to the beefs don’t forget the green river just a very well rounded hotdog stand with all the fixins!

5 /5 Mike D: I love the cheese dogs here! And the hot dog they use isnt exactly 100% beef ( or at least tastes that way ) and I appreciate that its not over greasy. Im Irish so I am biased to Green River sold here, but nonetheless love it being available to me and the Irish options in general. (give the Irish nachos a try!) The girls working are always really friendly and I always try to tip them!! Thank you for being great and keep it up ❤️

5 /5 Marie Sjostrom: Wow!!! I’m blown away!!! The one in Morris used to be this good, but they let it go so badly. The man that owns it put his heart and soul into it, and his family ruined it. But here, at this kankakee one, the bread is super soft, the Italian sausage tastes like Italian sausage!! The hotdogs are the best!!! And the chili dogs are amazing!! I’m so happy to still be able to get my favorite food even if I do have to travel now to get it. I’m not going to lie though, the reviews for the moldy fountain scared me from getting a drink. Since the other reviews are wrong. I may go ahead and try it next time. Also, some reviews said the staff was bad, I didn’t see it this time. My nephew is special needs and they were very friendly with him. I’m happy with portions. We all left full. I’m super happy with this visit.

5 /5 Dennis Flock: Great local hot dog shop. Get the Italian Combo, you wont be sorry. Have a Green River too!
