Kayla Pekny The Verdict is a great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. With a family friendly atmosphere and a huge double sided menu, there is something for everyone. The owner and staff are lovely people and the food is delicious. They have omelettes, pancakes, toast, salads, sandwiches, and so much more. They were more than willing to accommodate allergies for my table. Try the Greek bread and the tuna salad!

John Paul Manganiello Service was very attentive and polite. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed. The food alone is far past the casual dining standard. I make my own marinara sauce from scratch, and I can tell you just by flavor alone this restaurant does too, the best pasta sauce I’ve over had in a restaurant! The salad bar is excellently decorated and diverse in choices. Side note, Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert, because the selection is perfectly sweet and satisfying without being too rich. (Picture included is sausage and peppers after I mixed it up, it was much prettier before I dug into it)

Andrew Riffle i’m Im from Ohio and had never tried Chicago pizza before. I came here to give it a shot, but they were closed and I had to get back to work — I was on the clock. The owner saw me outside, unlocked the door, and said, “We open at 11.” I told him, “Man, I really wanted to try your pizza.” He asked where I was from, and when I told him Ohio — that I was just in town picking up a part in Newton — he said, “Come on in, I’ll get one cooking for you. You’ve got quite the drive back.” If there’s ever a reason to choose this place for Food or pizza, it’s because they’re good people — truly awesome and the PIZZA IS AWESOME IT MADE THE TRIP WORTH IT. Very rare you’ll met anybody that’s willing to start work early to Accommodate a stranger. Once again Thank you again Sir If i come through Newton again Your place will always be my go to.

Guerra Karla (Khadijah Assaad) I had an amazing experience at Los Compadres in Waukegan! The Huachinango (Red Snapper) was so delicious, and Angela provided exceptional service, attending to our every need. The restaurant even organized a beautiful table for mothers to enjoy. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for excellent food and extraordinary customer service. I missed the Karaoke but I will definitely be back soon! Gracias Angela.
