5 /5 Kelly Hoover: I love busy corner in pekin! They have really good food and you get what you pay for their take out service is amazing and their table service is phenomenal! You couldnt ask for better.

1 /5 jacob klein: I’ve never experienced anything like this before. As we were getting into our vehicle, the waitress came running outside, told us to never come back, and even flipped us off. Our experience during the visit had already been disappointing — the service was poor, which is why I only left a $1 tip. I always tip based on the quality of service, and in this case, it was far below what I would consider acceptable. The way we were treated, both during and after our visit, was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

5 /5 Adam Shanks: This is from the Busy Corner, out of all the options in pekin for breakfast this beats all of them. They actually cook. On a stove. They also know how to season food. Common sense right? Go anywhere else in pekin and youll find microwaved food with little taste. Now if Im wrong Id love to try somewhere new.

1 /5 Michelle Castro: This review is based on the service. As soon as we walked in (first time here), a short gray-haired waitress loudly asked from across the restaurant if we were picking up. We said no, and she told us to sit, saying she wondered why we were “just standing there.” While ordering, she was impatient, didn’t make eye contact, and gave off a rude demeanor the entire time. When paying, she was holding on to the tablet which had a 20% tip pre-selected, we changed it to $1 due to the poor service. As we were leaving, she came outside, yelled for us to never come back, and flipped us off. We were polite the whole time, so this was shocking and uncalled for. Terrible customer service. Clearly caters to regulars, not new customers.

Lets be honest ... its nothing to look at ... its not in the best neighborhood ... inside it has some faded pictures of John Wayne and the seating is your standard 4 -person square tables. When its full, its loud. So, if you are looking for a quiet, romantic breakfast place, this isnt your place! However, if you want some great breakfast food and super friendly, attentive service. .. this is the place! My coffee was always full and Whitney was always smiling. The star of the show was the food. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast ... big portions, homemade gravy, crispy hash browns and two deliciously scrambled eggs. And this might sound a little silly, but the white toast was perfect! Im serious ... it was perfect! If you want breakfast, the Busy Corner in Pekin is the place to go!!!
