Capponis Restaurant - (Near Toluca, IL)

Michael Telesky What a delightful surprise to find this place right next to some high speed chargers in Mattoon. Service was friendly, quick and great plating/presentation. I had the miso soup, somosas and basil tofu, with no peppers. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Rena Asutaku I came here with some friends while visiting from Maryland and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The appetizers were a great intro to the restaurant. We ordered samosas and very moist puff puff. Definitely one of the best puff puff I’ve ever had. From the entrees we ordered, the grilled pork and grilled fish were my favorite. Very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The jollof rice was also really good. They are in the process of changing their menu so some of the prices weren’t updated but the chef was very apologetic about the minor confusion. I would highly recommend this place!!

Ian Butler This place is great! You should go there! They always have a solid tap list and they change it up pretty frequently. They also sell cans and bottles to go, or to drink there. Singles, mix N match, all the options! The music is great! The staff is friendly! Cleanest bathrooms in town! Best place around to get all the Hop Butcher drops!

Elizabeth Gable Our favorite! So good! I think weve tried most of the menu and have never had a bad meal. Their smoky bloody mary is fantastic!

Morris Starkey Tried their "Buy Two Get One Free" deal... Chicken Parmesan was delicious and BIG, but instead of the free appetizer, we opted for the two side salads!!! Way more than we could eat and had to take three boxes home!!! Good service and friendly staff!

Deasy Pasaribu We visited during dinner time and theres no line for table. Theres self-order kiosk for easy ordering. We ordered several dishes including the Bok-choy with fresh garlic, The signature crispy tofu (my favorite), Fried fish fillet, and Sesame chicken. Rice included for some dishes we ordered, which was convenient. Our food arrived quickly, so we didn’t have to wait long at all. The atmosphere was quite calm and easy to talk. The restroom was relatively clean. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with friends.
