China King Buffet - (Near Salem, IL)

Bart Davis First time in the Cafe and also first time to try the horseshoe Im from Alabama so I didnt know what a horseshoe was but I got the Philly Horseshoe and it was amazing and great cheese sauce.

Damian Roberts Cool little bar and grill. They had live music out back and great food. The pretzel bites were on point. If you are you in Edwardsville. Dont cheat yourself stop at Big Daddys for a drink and some grub. They wont disappoint.

Eric Wellman Always the Best!! Stopped in here on my lunch break. I ended up ordering the pot roast sandwich...perfect lunch to get me through the day, but not feel too heavy! Highly recommend just about any Culvers restaurant...Where else can you get such fresh made fast-food!

Dan Ware Finally checked this spot out after years of driving by it. The combo was excellent. The beef is full of flavor and the sausage is incredible. I got mine wet with sweet and no cheese. I wanted to have the beef unadulterated. This is easily the best beef in the area! Lets talk about the fresh cut fries, cooked golden brown with a light salt dusting and fluffy light inside. My wife had a chilli dog chaser with her meal and it was baller! The owner is extremely friendly and should be proud of his sandwiches. Ive had every top beef sandwich in Chicagoland, Jonnies, Als, Mr beef, Freddies, Satchels, portillos (before sellout) and on and on. Salernos is in that league. Try a combo and tell me Im wrong.

Brent Nicklas Hometown just reintroduced their taco Tuesday and trivia night. I was hesitant to go at first due to the pandemic, but my worries were eased when I saw that the tables were separated (some removed) and not every table was taken. My friends and I sat between the bar and the pinball machines which created a very comfortable distance. The tacos were good, the staff was friendly and responsive, and the drink they recommended was great too! It was just like the good old days, but with more space.

Art Shenberger Placed an order online and when I got there I was told they didnt have what I ordered (gyro). The guy at the window made it right, however I normally wouldnt leave a review for that. It was how polite and kind the employees were that made me want to leave a review. I ended up getting a cheesesteak that was fabulous and the amount of meat was generous compared to most places. It is the second one Ive had and both were great! I dont know if its because were in the middle of the country but both where Im from and where Im going they are not nice and pleasant people like this spot. Thanks guys!!!
