Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - (Near Effingham, IL)

Suvondal Taylor L Station has a small, intimate feel when you first walk in, but there’s more space than expected toward the back. The staff was very friendly, and the bartender gave great drink recommendations. Our server, Malik, was exceptional. The menu can be a bit tricky with brunch vs. dinner options, but he explained everything clearly and helped us make great choices—his service alone is a reason I’ll return. Drinks are on the pricey side but worth it. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, mac and cheese was good, and the greens were flavorful (slightly salty for me). My friend loved the lamb chops, and my chicken & strawberry waffles were delicious. Total was about $180 with tip. Worth it. I’ll definitely be back to try the catfish and grits. Parking garage nearby if street parking isn’t available.

Brandelyn Hatcher I have been going to this truck for years! I was very disappointed yesterday bringing my burrito home to find lettuce and sour cream in it! This has never happened before as you can see from my previous picture! I didnt even want lettuce and sour cream on my tacos I dont know why my burrito was prepared this way. This is always my go to taco truck! The portions are huge and affordable. I always have left overs!

treviese griffin Place was recommended to us by an employee at the state capital that suggested we get the horseshoe. We got the one with buffalo chicken. It was so good. They had fried green tomatoes. Those were good. The ranch is really good. Definitely would go back and try a different type of horseshoe.

Antonio Miguel Don Ole Mexican Restaurant is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Highland Illinois. The food tastes very authentic. The size portions are large, and no matter how busy the restaurant is, the food is always served in a timely manner. The wait staff are very kind, efficient, and attentive to your dining needs. The main dining room is quite large and is filled with a mixture of booths and tables. The decorations, pictures, and statues are fun. The restaurant is generally busy. When there are a lot of kids, the restaurant can have a lot of background noise. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is parking on both sides of the restaurant. The location is easy to find and centrally located. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Eternalfriday Jacksonville is blessed to have the best Applebees in the world. Awesome staff, good deals and great food. Monday night $8 burgers!
