5 /5 Michele Bleymeyer: I dont have a bad thing 2 say about our meal there. Always great food. Im not even a French fry lover, but 4 theres, I can make an exception. And I absolutely love their root beer. Ranks right up there with A&W. For the most part, their employees R friendly and helpful. But that runs hot and cold. Sometimes the best I can say about their employees R that theyre cordial. I really dont see too many smiling ever. The place is really clean most of the time. Not really that hard finding a clean table and chairs. Though I have 2 admit, management is extremely lackadaisical in righting wrongs in the first place. We went there about 9 months ago. Got some meals 2 go as well as some pints. I have 2 say, I love their pints, but theyre usually a sticky, goopy, slimy, disgusting mess on the outside of the pint containers. We get ice-cream from a variety of restaurants...B&R, Freddys, Culvers, among others. Culvers will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS need 2 B cleaned off once U get them home. Theyre pretty much a constant and consistent mess. That being said, there were literally a bunch of problems with our meals that night. We live 1/2 hour away, so we just took pictures of all the problems and kept our receipt, the order summary and the digital receipt. I wrote a review on their FB page, along with the pictures and our order. Someone from Culvers sent me a text and owned up to the mistakes.. had hired a bunch of newbies and everything was still working out the kinks. OK. Fine. They promised me a total replacement on our meal. I waited and waited for a coupn 2 arrive. Nothing ever came. So we tried ordering it at the restaurant. They had absolutely nothing there as far as a credit is concerned or even any mention of our problem or the resolution. So, I was lied to and left hanging with our $65 debacle of a meal. I was more than disappointed and upset. And being lied to and led around by my nose was equally upsetting. If it hadnt been such an expensive order, Ive been fine with it all.
