Candace Edwards Wonderful service. The staff is very friendly and quick. The food was hot when it came out, definitely made fresh. The pot roast sandwich was delicious. It was a good atmosphere too. Highly recommend it.

Todd Tatum Update- I recently placed another order. Chicken Nachos, A double cheeseburger and an order of fried pickles.All amazing tasting. Great prices, great quantities and fantastic prices, I love this place. Old Review- I ordered the taco trio. I got 3 ground beef and 3 shrimp tacos. I loved them. Great tasting. Simply made and perfectly put together. The price was excellent. To be able to choose all three meats is wonderful. I am definitely eating Tacos from here on Thursday from now on. I will try some of the fried foods next time as well.

Ena Powers We recently moved to Poplar Grove from Texas. Arturo’s quickly became our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The owners come out and check on their patrons, we love that! We had high expectations, coming from El Paso, TX. They have exceeded our expectations! The Waite staff is so friendly, kind, and fast. Jani our usual waitress, Is the best!! We look forward to seeing her!

Melvin C Larry’s Pit BBQ – Sunday Morning Drive-Thru Delight We stopped at Larry’s Pit BBQ bright and early on a Sunday morning at 7:20 AM, and let me tell you—it was worth the early rise. We pulled into the drive-thru, passing the first window where the menu board lives (seems like it’s more for decoration these days) and rolled on to the next window. A pleasant young lady greeted us with a smile and asked if we had called ahead. We hadn’t, but she took our order quickly and with a friendly manner. We went for two breakfast platters: two eggs over easy, perfectly cooked breakfast potatoes, and hearty biscuits smothered in rich, creamy gravy. One platter came with four plump sausage links, the other with four crispy bacon strips—both generous portions that would satisfy any appetite. Payment was quick (yes, they do like to be paid everywhere we go), and the wait was surprisingly short for such a freshly made breakfast. The same friendly young lady brought our order right to the window, hot and ready to enjoy. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, tasty, and hearty breakfast served with a smile, Larry’s Pit BBQ is the place to go. We’ll be back—probably hungrier than ever.

Lauren Magana My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary with lunch at El Niagara in Woodstock, and it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed flavorful margaritas (mango for me and strawberry for him) that paired perfectly with our nachos appetizer and burrito entrées—my husband added jalapeños to his for an extra kick. What truly made the experience memorable was the exceptional service from Natalie. She was incredibly kind and attentive, and her personal touch made our celebration feel special. She even treated us to a complimentary dessert of our choice, which we happily chose as fried ice cream with churros. During our conversation, Natalie shared that her cousins own the restaurant, which added a lovely personal connection to the experience. We were so impressed that we’ve already talked about making El Niagara a tradition more than once a year. I don’t write many reviews, but this one felt worth sharing. Highly recommend!

CHRIST1ST SL Very nice place! The owner was taking care of his fish pond in the entrance area. He knew everyone that walked in. The food was delicious & well priced. All-u-can-eat lunch buffet for $12! Had the entire room to ourselves which made a great private lunch with my wife. What else can you ask for? Will visit again, we were from Chatham, IL.
