Delmar Public House - (Near Godfrey, IL)

4 /5 Steven Bott: Delicious food, Great service, Masterfully made cocktails and a simple comfortable ambiance. Delmar Public House is just a short drive from my house, so it has become my quick and easy meal out when I do not want to cook. Ive enjoyed burgers, pasta, fish and chips and cottage pie. All of them were tasty meals. The pastas and burgers are my two favorites. When I get a burger beef or pork, I always upgrade to Pub Fries. I like how they are like big ruffle chips, but they are fries. One of my favorite things at any restaurant is when they serve ketchup in a little stainless cup. I have this thing against bottles on the table, so I am a happy diner when I see those little cups of ketchup. Delmar Public House, is a regular in my rotation. Its there because of the quality of food and service. Its also a good value and with the prices of things, thats a good thing.

5 /5 Sue Richards: We went about 6:30 on a Friday night and the dining room was full. It was a little noisy, so some drapery or fabric would absorb some of that. Our waitress was very attentive. Two people of our party of 7 had very good fish and chips. One had the pot roast and loved it. Another had a curry dish and liked it also. All in all, an enjoyable night. They close at 9, so we left on a good note. One of our party wanted a Captain and 7up and they didnt stock Captain. Otherwise, a good night!

5 /5 Stacy Rorie: Great atmosphere and Jordan our server had amazing energy! Irish nachos had the best cheese sauce and sausage. Definitely get the crab cake special. The house is always my favorite with its light yet flavorful vinaigrette. Finished dinner with sticky toffee pudding. 10 out of 10 would recommend everything from Delmar Public House.

5 /5 Sadie Bronnbauer: the best around! i highly encourage you to go with friends and get a few different items to share so you can try as much of the menu as possible! the hummus and masala are my faves, but the rotating weekly specials keep me coming back as well.

5 /5 Kristen Pauli: Everything was excellent. It was a perfect place to come to after a long winter hike at the Nature Institute down the road. The service was excellent. The food quality and items offered were beyond what was expected. Very impressed with the cocktails as well. I don’t eat out often because many places don’t offer quality for what you pay for. This is not the case with DPH. Will definitely come back soon!
