5 /5 Derek Redding: I recently decided to take the family out for a meal, and we ended up at Dennys. Normally, we don’t frequent breakfast places, but it had been years since my last visit to Dennys, so I thought, "Why not give it a try?"
I expected the usual experience, complete with crabby waitstaff and an empty glass for the duration of our meal. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic. She was not at all pushy. I mentioned to her that I hadn’t been to a Denny’s in a while, and instead of just listing the menu items, she engaged me in a conversation explaining the different options to my entire family.
Not only did she listen carefully to my preferences, but she also suggested dishes and sides that suited our tastes. Overall, I would rate our experience a solid 10. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because she truly went above and beyond. Dennys has a wonderful employee.... Ashley! Well done!
