Diner - (Near Highland, IL)

Arrowsmith Parker I grew up in Quincy but I live in Chicago now. Every time I come visit my family, we come straight here from the train station. This is my childhood and their childhood. Its a Quincy tradition that I hope will never end. I love coming here because I know the food will be incredible every time and they have amazing deals.

Traveling Lady Railfan (Sept 2024) Returning to this location a month after our very first visit I was surprised and thrilled that our bartendress recognized us and greeted us so warmly! All I can think is that if you were a local, or live somewhere nearby and could visit this location often, you would want this to be your hang out. They make you feel welcome here. Its time for dinner we had the jumbo shrimp with beef steak fries and cottage cheese, And salmon fillet. Really good, but honestly, that pork tenderloin sandwich they have on the menu is amazing and if I lived closer by Id be having this every week!! (Aug 2024) We arrived before 5:00 pm on a August Monday and were afraid they was closed (no one else there) but soon other customers came. A good vibe. Our server was very attentive. Great menu!! Very pleased with everything!! Had Monday meatloaf diinner special and a pork tenderloin breaded sandwich (huge!)

Theresa Stentiford Fantastic place to stop for a bite to eat breakfast lunch or dinner..they have such a wide range of foods in all sort of prices. I opted for the turkey club and that came with salad fries and breads there are several sides you can choose from likes soups and other things. Our server was super sweet making wonderful suggestions for things to try. I will definitely be back when in the area. Also if you go for dinner save room desert comes with it also. We are at lunch and was far too full

David Jemison This place was so busy, barely anywhere to park or sit. But they got us in, we had the best server ever. Very attentive, knew the menu. We had a party of 8. No mistakes. Food was really good. Next time Im in Springfield Ill be back.

Steven Twixer I got the ribeye done medium rare and it was very good! I got a side of loaded potato too and had a side salad. For the price I feel like it was decent value and would recommend to others.
