LoneRanger I recently had breakfast at this small-town spot, and overall, it was a solid experience. I ordered a meat lovers omelet with cheddar cheese and a side of bacon. The omelet was originally made with three eggs, but I added an extra egg for $2.95, making it a four-egg omelet. It was packed with filling, cooked well, and definitely a satisfying portion. The side of bacon was also cooked just right, and everything tasted fresh. One thing I appreciate is how they price their menu. The omelet itself is around $10.45, and if you want hashbrowns, it’s an extra $1.20. I actually like that they separate the cost because I’m on a high-protein, low-carb diet, and I hate paying for hashbrowns that I won’t even eat. This setup works great for me. Prices are decent but have gone up over the past year, which seems to be the trend everywhere. Also, if you pay with a credit card, there’s a 3.49% fee, so keep that in mind. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town breakfast spot—warm, welcoming, and friendly. The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, and that adds to the experience. If you’re looking for a good breakfast with solid portions and a friendly environment, this place is worth checking out!

Ginger Wilson Pretty solid Italian beef. It itched my cravin for one. Right at 20 bucks for a soda fries and a Italian beef sandwich. Would come back again. The pizza looked amazing and They have Vienna beef hotdogs. Will try those on a return visit.

Rick White Had lunch here on 10.16.2025 and was served by Christina. The grilled cheese with the broccoli and cheese soup was Spectacular!!! Highly recommend to anyone traveling through Litchfield. This place is an Illinois Treasure.

nick day Nice, little corner diner at the edge of town. Good coffee, friendly staff. The cook walked through at one point to chat with what mustve been a regular customer. Named a "local favorite" a few years ago, and it definitely feels like a community diner. Breakfast is served all day, but there are lunch options, too. Good "stuffed" biscuits and gravy!
