Mattox Pugh This quaint little restaurant was truly a surprise find. I was extremely skeptical, as to the number of reviews and that it’s in the middle of nowhere, as most aren’t that good. The owner was very nice, though the food was a little slow, but it’s justified since there was only the owner, AND it’s all home cooked. First was the corned beef smoked sandwich, and it was very good. The meat was well prepared, and the bread was toasted nice and added to the overall taste. The restaurant allows ordering any dish (including breakfast dishes) all throughout the day. So I got the breakfast sandwich. It was two over hard (?) eggs with sausage and pepper jack, and it was so tasty. The sausage was well cooked, the eggs weren’t overdone. Very delicious. And finally was the grand breakfast with eggs, potatoes, toast, and gravy. Similar to the breakfast sandwich, it was all masterfully cooked. 10/10, I’d definitely recommend!

Lena Roley Update: Came in for breakfast today. Got here at 10am. Started closing down bar at 10:30am but was polite enuf to let us know. Was a little cold inside the restaurant today. But other than that, nice and clean and warm food!! Nice food bar. Salad bar and a small dinner bar. Great for when u want a small bite. Comes with a soda fountain drink. Help yourself kind of cafeteria atmosphere. Good food!

Rodney Yoswig This is a wonderful destination lunch. Place is a log cabin with a very comfortable indoor setting which include s a gift shop. Menu has a limited selection of freshly made foods more on an upscale level. Good service and food is smaller sized portions (normal size really). Flavor is spot on their food is delicious. Pies and desserts are homemade. A must try location.

Mikhail Memedovich Im a massive taco fanatic, have had the best of the best from Mexico, San Diego, Texas and Miami. Let me tell you, this place is FIRE. I was driving through on a long road trip and was blown away by their tacos. Meat is amazing. Portions and pricing on point. A gem in a small town.
