El Taco Fiesta - (Near Vandalia, IL)

Miss Alisha Stopped in for a light lunch service was exceptional from the minute you walk in until the time you leave. Everything we had down to the margaritas were great. The decor was bright and colorful and appeared to have tons of seating for larger parties. We recommend this place if you are in the area, prices were very reasonable.

Michelle November 2025: I went to Mio Modo in St. Charles for my sister-in-laws birthday. I love the Francescas chain, the food is always spot-on and the decor is always lovely and eye-catching. The bar at this location was stunning! Very beautiful and I loved the plant decor. Our waiter, James, was very friendly and provided great service. He also brought us each Limoncello shots to try at the end of our meal, which we enjoyed. We all loved our food! For appetizers, we shared the calamari and roasted beets. For our entrees we had the lamb shank, ravioli, shrimp pasta, and Francescas salad with chicken. Every dish was amazing, filling, and the flavors were outstanding! For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, chocolate cake, and the sloppy sundae. I cant say enough good things about Francescas and I always look forward to dining there!

Anne Atwood Absolutely loved this place, will definitely be back. Went for an anniversary dinner, both me and my boyfriend loved our drinks and entrees. I loved their beer cheese that comes with their pretzel bites and the carrot cake was the best Ive had. Amazing staff and atmosphere. Ill be recommending this place to friends and family!

Serina Nunnally I live in the neighborhood and eat here at least 3-4 times a month. The food is top tier. The service is exceptional and the General Manager is the Mayor of the restaurant. Greeting guests, running food and pitching in to make this place run like the well oiled machine it is! Staff seem very happy, food is always hot and fresh so color impressed and that means a lot coming from working in food service for 2 decades. Daily specials are so worth it, Thursday’s are my night so don’t go crowding the place lol but in all seriousness if you are looking for some great food and a nice chill vibe whether for a quick and quaint date night or a night out with you guys and gals if you’re in Uptown this is the place!

Keith Weber I love the clear pods, its snowing outside inside is warm and cozy. Half price pasta on Tuesday, you cant beat that! The mussels were very flavorful and the French onion soup was great. Wild mushroom pasta very balanced with the creamy and savory spices.

Skippy my Traveling Side Kick We always stop in here for our Mexican food cravings when we make our yearly trip to Arthur. The food is made freshly for each order and as always is delicious along with filling. Besides, we always get burritos to go so we can have them later on, they freeze well. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Cynthia has added more to her new menu and new drinks to boot. This lady has done fabulously in her brick-motor restaurant. We always support locally-owned restaurants and stores to ensure they stay in our communities. If youve never stopped in please make sure you try her fantastic restaurant. Big shout out to Cynthia for all her continued accomplishments!
