El Toro Loco - (Near Metropolis, IL)

Rachael Jones We were waiting for 15 minutes, it went by quickly and was worth it. This was my first time here and the food was delicious and fresh! I tried both buttermilk and potato pancakes, although the potato pancakes weren’t really my thing they tasted good and were crispy on both sides. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and perfectly cooked. The service was absolutely wonderful. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant had a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. A great place to enjoy breakfast or brunch! The restaurant seemed very clean and had plenty of space to wait inside or outside the building. They even served coffee outside while we waited. I would give 4.5 stars because we didn’t get all we ordered so we had to wait for that after our original food and also the prices just seemed a bit high especially for a small orange juice I just saw sitting in pitchers on the counter in the back. Overall I would come here again!

Robert Hoagland The restaurant is in an old train station by the railroad tracks. Theres some outside seating. They have a well stocked bar and have some fun drinks. The food was excellent and the service good. I would recommend it for a nice date or special occasion.

Kimberly Nguyen Went an hour before close from working on remodeling/ construction. Felt self conscious coming in covered in paint and exhausted but hungry. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Wait from ordering food was within 5 minutes. Very fast and food was piping hot. The portions were huge so well worth the money. Including alcohol. Holiday special margaritas were dangerously tasty. I made a mistake with the tip being tipsy and manager came out and fixed my error on the kiosk and refunded my self over charge. Embarrassing but the staff really made me feel welcomed.

Lindsey Rapp Went to the Arnold location and realized they had another location and had to try it. Just as amazing. I got the same food here I did at the Arnold was and it was very good! The atmosphere is pretty mild and quiet. During dinner times its a bit more loud with more crowd, which is understandable. Service is very good and attentive, and the staff is just trying to make sure everything is correct! Will be going back.

Kristin Ballard Absolutely love lucha!!!! The food is fresh, tasty, and the portion sizes are definitely worth the $. Also they provide so many substitutions for those with dietary restrictions or preferences that are all tasty.

Cassie White Ordered through the doordash app and got their party package of 44 wings with 4 different flavors and each with curly fries for my family and it was so delicious and worth the money. We ate from the Mount Vernon IL location!
