Forest Inn - (Near Morrison, IL)

Derek Daniels I think this is a newer restaurant, as I was told a pizza place was in here before. The food was decent, but the inside looked less like a Mexican restaurant than most Ive seen. The service was adequate, but my chips werent replaced with a new batch when I finished and my drink wasnt refilled until the end of my meal. My burrito grande was pretty good, though Ive had far better. The salsa was runny; very watery. I wouldnt go out of my way to return here, but I would come back.

Robin Wicks Excellent food, outstanding service, and beautiful atmosphere! Had korma, aalto naan, and a cauliflower appetizer. Oh my, i cant rave enough about how good it all was.

Brandon Stilley Been here over 50 times. My favorite place in town. I usually go for the American taco meal with ground beef, or the nacho supreme. There was a couple times recently where the refried beans and the ground beef tasted too salty, but everything now tastes back to normal. I’ve been back 3 times since that happened. Aside from that I never really had any issues.

Matt Caminiti We had a great dinner here. Made reservations ahead of time as recommended and were sat on time. Drink selection and appetizer selection was great. Staff was very attentive. They had the patio open and windows open to the patio which made it a little cool inside but it was pleasant overall. The food was outstanding. I had the chicken Marsala and red sauce pasta side. Very good and make to authentic style. All the meals at the table were a hit. We were told about some great weekday lunch specials and plan to be back soon!
