Generals Restaurant - (Near Galena, IL)

Jaime Rivas Saporito’s Pizzeria is about 14 miles from me i live in Freeport, but the drive was well worth it. This is a true mom-and-pop pizzeria that offers both excellent food and warm, friendly service. The pizza was outstanding—perfect crust, flavorful sauce, and fresh toppings. They also have a good selection of classic Italian favorites beyond just pizza. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. Service was quick and attentive, and everything came out hot and fresh. If you’re looking for an authentic, family-run spot with top-quality pizza and Italian food, I highly recommend Saporito’s. I’ll definitely be back!

The warm welcome and festive fireplace setting made the evening feel magical. Carey, our wonderful waitress, was attentive and kind, and the owner checked in several times to ensure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding, fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of authentic Italian flavor. Our group enjoyed every dish. chyna piel We went to Atlas’ Slice twice this weekend! The food was phenomenal, service was great, atmosphere was also great! The pizza is very filling and we loved the unique soda options. Can’t wait to go back. Bonus points for their dairy free cheese option!

Jordan Carey Decided to check out the noodle bar in our last visit. Sierra was very nice and helpful. Very quick refilling waters making sure we are good. Food came out fast. It was hot and delicious. Highly recommend the Pad See Ew. It was a little loud but its a casino restaurant it comes with the territory. Overall definitely will be returning again
