Georges Pub & Grill - (Near Jerseyville, IL)

5 /5 Tim R: Bored on a Saturday, so we decided to head to Georges, and sit outside on the patio. Never a bad choice. We started off with drinks, and the Huntsville Honey is one of the best drinks Ive ever had; definately top 5. The pour is strong. We got cheese curds for an app and they were good by themselves, but you dip them in ranch, or marinara, and it takes them to the next level. I got a turkey club, and I kid you not, was the best tasting turkey Ive had in my life. I cant even yell you how good it was. My wife got the Hawaiian pizza, which I had leftover for lunch, and it was excellent (next time Ill ask for some jalapenos). Our server......the most friendly Ive seen in a long time. She had a smile the entire time. And she was spot on with the order, and we never wanted for anything. If youre in the Jerseyville area, and want something amazing, stop in. I cannot say enough good things about Georges.

5 /5 Julie Ferrari Beyer: Id heard about the steaks from this place and hubby and I both ordered the 16 oz ribeye. They were large and delicious. The server was very accommodating in checking the ingredients of the dishes for my allergies and following up to check if we needed anything. I wasnt able to get the balsamic sauce or parmesan on the brussel sprouts but they were absolutely delicious. I couldnt quit talking about how great they were. You may eat indoors, outside, or at the bar. There is also an area upstairs for larger crowds. Id highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

2 /5 Abs: Came in while not very busy, maybe two other tables were dinning. Our server comes and takes our drink orders, comes back takes our food order. Very short and blunt. Maybe speaks 5 sentences to us the entire 35 minutes were there. My ceasar salad was very sad looking with barely any dressing and burnt croutons. My partners food was good, though the chicken was very chewy. While eating he had accidentally spilled his drink bumping the high top table. We went to ask for napkins and more dressing for the salad but couldnt find our server. When they did bring towels over, never offered to get us a new drink and just asked if we wanted the check. We just payed, took our food to go and left after that.

5 /5 Cord Blumenstock: This was a random stop and we couldnt have been more pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, food was quick and delicious. The little town is so clean and it takes you back in time for sure.
