GIA MIA Geneva - (Near Geneva, IL)

4 /5 chris: Went here for the 14 dollar lunch special and was not disappointed. Started with the Butternut Squash appetizer (not included in the special) and had the Vodka sauce pasta and the Italian Farm salad. The vodka sauce was one of the best Ive had in a long time. The salad was very good and filling. Downside was the service. Waitress was very nice but a bit slower than I like especially at lunch. Overall, definitely a good experience.

4 /5 Matt Campbell: Great esthetic with wonderful dishes. Gia Mia is an Italian restaurant located on the corner or 3rd and 38 in Gevena,Il. Be warned, parking can be challenging due to the location. I recommend making a reservation! The charming outside of the building shows class and is tastful with its subtle landscape. Inside the building is compact due to the size of the restaurant, but the layout of the dining room gives comfortable, classy, rustic yet modern Italian vibes. The menu is clean, easy to follow, and descriptive of each dish. Items to choose from are plentiful and somewhat unique. Each dish ordered was packed with great flavors and nicley proportioned. Honestly, there are no complaints on tastes of anything ordered. Sadly, I do have a complaint from all in my party! While dining in, the establishment was hot. The dining areas air conditioning seemed like it was not operational. The 85 degrees outside seemed cooler, making the stay unpleasant and had us all sweating. Other than this issue, Gia Mai is a great place for a date night or social gathering. Many of the patrons in attendance appeared to be out on a date. Overall, Gia Mia is a nice place worth the price!

5 /5 josephine richburg: Enjoyed an amazingly delicious lunch today at Gia Mia. We ordered the $13 lunch special which is a pizza for one and a side salad. Both pizzas and salads were delicious and filling. The restaurant had a really great vibe, super clean, and service was excellent.

5 /5 Cynthia Funegard: Im in there in a while but we received a gift card for Christmas. Matt was an excellent server. The food was delicious. The focaccia bread $14.99 lunch special I have the most delicious salad. Either one is great. A lot of fun.

4 /5 Michelle Pierce: While the food was good, it was overpriced and nothing really stood out as especially memorable. The server was well trained but rushed to the point I had to “flag her down” when she was passing each time I needed something. And lastly, it’s a very minor point, but I kinda wanted to hear something calming or romantic like maybe Sinatra or Dean Martin crooning Italian songs …. Instead I got Pearl Jam, Metallica, and many other songs/bands of that genre that I didn’t recognize. All in all I see it as a pretender in the really nice date night category. Good food, nice interior, knowledgeable servers (but not attentive), and overpriced for the dining experience.
