Chris Buikema Always great food here, stopped in late tonite, bartender was super nice and very accommodating just before closing. Had a drink and appetizers. Pizza and spaghetti are also always great!

Eboni Harris This place is a real gem in Springfield. They have a Chef, I know it is a bar but I am going to call the him a Chef because he is actually cooking real food from scratch with real ingredients and custom recipes. The prices are low, so low you might question the quality but the quality is outstanding. This isnt your usual Springfield restaurant serving you reheated frozen food from Sysco or GFS. They hand batter the mushrooms (hard to find if you live fried mushrooms), and the chicken strip. The burgers are amazing and juicy, perfect ratios of fat to meat content. The bread is outstanding. The specialty breads like the jalapeños cornbread is a real interesting treat. The cheese sauce is a garlic cheese sauce that is different from the normal here and a real delight. The French fries are amazing. They coke with salt and pepper on them for that added special touch. The servers are friendly and attentive. The draft drink specials are great. They have plenty of outdoor seating and a window you can order from outside if you are so inclined. The only downside is they stop taking food order at 8pm. Other than that this place is absolutely perfect.

Shellie Im not sure what the actual name of the sandwich is called, an employee had recommended it, so I just call it "Aidenfabulous". Its the only kind I get since I first tried one. Its my favorite because the employee Aiden has made it with great pride and always with a glowing smile. Such a wonderful employee!!

Stephanie Malone Food was delicious. We got the soy garlic gyoza and three sushi rolls (pink lady, spicy shrimp tempura, and fried green bean). Although not standard sushi, the green beans was by far my favorite. The soy garlic gyoza was amazing and we will be getting it again.

Irene Kittycat Spent a fun Columbus day weekend at Springfield and stopped in for their early bird dinner and it was fantastic! Took them a bit for service but it was great so we didnt mind waiting. Decorations were so cute and at 5:30pm, they were already packed with a long line out the door! We ordered the oyster appetizers, chicken Monterey, Cod Dejonghe and baked stuffed shrimp and it was all so so delicious. Came with this sweet butter roll that melts in your mouth. One of the best seafood we had in a while. Expect long wait but oh so worth it! Yum!

aejperry We stayed here with our group for a few days. I can’t say enough nice things about the family that runs the Lodge and restaurant. The cabins were very clean and exactly what you want staying in a park. The restaurant had amazing service and great food! The chicken dinner was delicious! If you are headed this way, I highly recommend you stay and enjoy the scenery. Oh and Go Dawgs!
