Gojos Cafe & Pancake House - (Near Waukegan, IL)

sutherlandk19 Sala Thai is a wonderful family-owned Thai restaurant in a part of town that doesnt serve food. I believe their sister business is Aroy Thai in OFallon. I only ever order the chicken pad thai and my husband always wishes he had when he orders something else (because the pad thai is the best thing on the menu). The food is always perfectly prepared. They offer to add spice up to five levels based on preference. My only critique is that I wish there was more meat in the dish. I order the chicken pad thai and my husband the pork pad thai and an appetizer of fried spring rolls. Sala Thai is the first Thai restaurant Id ever been to and what a wonderful introduction to the style of food that it was.

Hiking With Shawn Diver Down has the best burgers in Southern Illinois. I always get a mushroom Swiss burger. its well seasoned and isnt dry. Just writing this review makes me want one now. They have really good fries, too. They have fried mushrooms as big as your fist and the pepperjack triangles are amazing. They always know what we want when we first walk in. Great staff, very clean place, restaurant on one side, bar on the other. Everything I have to say about Diver Down is good. Golconda is one the oldest towns in Illinois and very worth a visit, especially when recreating in the Shawnee National Forest. Go check them out!

Rebekah Prater Absolutely loved this place! My husband took me here for our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. I felt like I was treated like a queen I know it sounds funny to say. The staff and our waiter was amazing! We rarely have a fancy dinner but I’d advise you try it once! The food was great too! Much appreciated thank you so much for letting us have a great time!

Tyler Maggart This is the best restaurant in Quincy, the food is always perfect, hot, tasty, etc. Never ever have i had a different experience based on the day, its always consistent & i love bringing people here for the first time! Such a cool owner as well, always appreciate the hospitality and environment. I do not do reviews but this place earns it, this is the least i could do.

Sarah K I’m going to be talking about The Space for weeks to anyone that will listen. It was THAT good. The moment we walked in and got hit with the smell of what they’re cookin - we were sold. French onion dip app 10/10. Smash burgers (i got oklahoma and he got smashy) also 10/10. The crispy edges are unmatched… heaven sent. Finished off with the creme brûlée cheesecake, no surprise, it was a 10/10. The vibe is so dope. The staff is awesome and you can tell they actually WANT to be working here. Food is clearly made with top notch fresh ingredients. Cooked impeccably. The dishes are creative and I want to try every single one of them. 10000/10 experience. Can’t wait to be back.
