Mona Warrick Were lucky to live so close to this family-friendly drive-in restaurant! Delicious, varied menu with something for everyone. We love the fish. Its battered and cooked to order. Were also fans of the slaw, which has been popular to diners since the 1950s. You can get a fish basket or sandwich. You cant go wrong. Fresh barbecue sandwiches are always available. On the weekends, Yesterdays offers delicious brisket and ribs fresh from the on-site smoker. The restaurant is exclusively carhop now. There was a small dining area prior to the pandemic. There are picnic tables available for warmer weather. You can always call in your order and carry-out. If you want lunch, my advice is to call ahead and pick it up. The restaurant is crazy busy around noon. My only negatives would be, as with many places, there is a lot of staff turnover. Be patient with the carhops. The food is with the wait. Also, the restaurant closes early evening, so keep an eye on the clock! If youre in Carmi, stop by and try something delicious.

Michael Garcia Had a blast at Big Boys Bar & Grill! The vibe is super chill with plenty of pool tables to keep the night going. The drinks were solid—loved there, craft beer and drinks—and the food hit the spot, especially the fish, wings or burgers. Service was friendly, though it got a bit busy, refills are quick. Penny Wadley Not a very large place, but worth checking out if you haven’t. Very friendly staff and atmosphere, with good food and drink! Had one of the best cheeseburgers I have had in quite a while . Grilled to perfection with lettuce, tomato, onion, minus pickle, I preferred cheddar cheese and on toasted Texas toast. It came with chips, as they have no deep fryer. Jen made me a margarita, from scratch. Good job Jen it was very good!

Eric Arundel I simple small town restaurant with great food. Whoever made the pancakes and skillet knew what they were doing. They were made perfectly. Its a little rundown looking, but its small town charm. Very good!

Poss Great experience! Stopped in for some quick breakfast and was very pleased. I was seated as soon as I walked in. The waitress was friendly and took my order as soon as I was ready. She brought me everything I needed without having to ask. My food was ready in no time and was cooked perfectly to order. 10/10, thanks Dennys crew!
