Jon Novak Nice spacious dining area with plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and fast. Prices are a little above average but the food is good. Friday fish has 4 pieces and soup included. Bread is served and there is a kids menu too.

J B Love finding places like this! Traveling through Illinois and this small(not really) diner pub shows up at the right time. The food was just superb. For my sandwich, I wish the portions were a bit bigger, but what was on the plate was absolutely delicious! Every member of my party truly enjoyed their meal. So if you are driving and see this place or want to take a road trip, its definitely worth the trip. O and, by the way, be sure to check out the weather station it might be more accurate than the meteorologists!

Adam Hatch I would recommend getting in early if you’re looking to have breakfast or have a reservation. The seating area is small and fills up fast. Here are the dishes we had. The Goat from Ipanema - This drink was a blend of two rums with pineapple, coconut, miso, and lime. Very refreshing and a more bitter version of a pińa colada. This Little Piggy - A deconstructed breakfast sandwich with sausage, sunny side egg, on a cheddar biscuit with a chili garlic chive sauce. It was fantastic and the sauce offered a subtle but sweet aftertaste. Avocado Toast - My Mom got this and really enjoyed it. She raved about the herbey limey drizzle over the top of the greens the toast was under. The Simple Goat - 2 eggs your way, bacon or sausage, fruit, toast, or hashbrowns. I recommend getting this dish if you’re looking for something light. My Dad is a light eater and this was perfect for him. Bacon was cooked perfect and crispy, just how we like it! Great diner with an awesome service staff! Can’t wait to come back and try even more of their items.

bee gun Wow! Great atmosphere. Bread had an awesome texture. Spaghetti sauce was bold and basil-forward. Cannelloni Alfredo had the BEST garlic creamy sauce. Waitress was kind and attentive, crowd was quiet and polite. Ill be back! Slightly chilly in dining area, closed toe shoes or a jacket recommended.

Kimberley M Holidays drinks were delicious, French onion soup couldnt have been better, and banana foster was yummy! We love how friendly and affordable this place is. You can sit inside with a few of the river too. A diamond in the rough!

Grease Monkette We had the best waitress ive ever had in my life at any the restaurant. I started choking at my pop and she came right out to make sure I was okay. The food was amazing as usual. We got the guacamole, which is always one point and steak chimichangas.
