La Patrona Mexican Cantina & Grill - Freeport

Rating: 4.6 /5
Michelle Nelson First time coming to La Patrona and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and we got everything we ordered quickly. We ordered the ceviche to start, and it was really good. The tamales are some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. The al pastor tacos were very tasty as well as their margaritas! Would come back here again, the food is great a the staff are very nice.

The Ariston Cafe - Litchfield

Rating: 4.5 /5
Sauber Sylvia Was in the Springfield, IL area for work events—on my drive back to St. Louis, I stopped by as I’d heard great things about this historic establishment. Came right before closing so got homemade desserts to-go. The lemon blueberry layered cake & the chocolate cream pie were absolutely delightful! There were at least 9 other desserts to choose from so I’ll definitely return to try more as well as savory entrees. The staff were super friendly and accommodating :)

DArcys Pint - Springfield

Rating: 4.6 /5
treviese griffin Place was recommended to us by an employee at the state capital that suggested we get the horseshoe. We got the one with buffalo chicken. It was so good. They had fried green tomatoes. Those were good. The ranch is really good. Definitely would go back and try a different type of horseshoe.

Los Potrillos - Charleston

Rating: 4.5 /5
Julie Curtner Great food and great service. I recommend this restaurant over the competitors in town. The food at Los Potrillos is authentic and delicious! Service was fast, staff kind and helpful, food was fantastic. I will return!
harris pizza #1

Harris Pizza #1 - Rock Island

Rating: 4.5 /5
Bridget Duncan Harris Pizza is the place to go if youre seeking out some classic quad cities style pizza. Its good hot, its good cold, and its good despite the fact that you can only carryout now. My out of town relatives always request dinner from here, and its a perfect meal to hit the spot when you want pizza that isnt like the average pizza hut/little Ceasars style. I highly recommend getting a 4 pack of rootbeer from here as well, theyve got the good bottled kind!! My go to is half sausage and onion and half pepperoni. Beware parking in front of the building though, folks drive all types of crazy. Your best bet is to park in the lot between Harris Pizza 1 and 2.

Big Os on the Hollow - Freeport

Rating: 4.6 /5
Rahm Hex I love going to Big Os for their specials and for trivia! The service is typically good, though on busier nights the kitchen can be a bit slower with orders. Personally, after going weekly for months, I have only had one issue with my order being messed up.
