Victor Reyes Was searching for something close to the hotel and this came up and it was quite the find. I had the Filipino based Adobo rice bowl and the guava and cream cheese empanada. They were both excellent. I would imagine this is a great place for locals and it looks like they have a food truck. Was really happy to find this gem. There was a picnic table outside where I ate my lunch. But definitely a takeout delivery place.

Rashel Farris Excellent Everything! Onion Rings, and Jalapeno Poppers were so good! Mushroom Swiss burger on pretzel bun and fries was yummo! The lobster alfredo, garlic bread, and salad was delicious! And the fish and seasoned fries were excellent! Our waitress Brooke Healy was very polite and attentive! The food was on our table in no time on a Friday night, and the prices were very reasonable! We will absolutely be back!

t l Way overpriced for the amount of meat on the sandwiches. 8 bite size pieces on very large slices of bread. No bbq sauce!!!! The cheesecake dessert was not a sandwich. Looked like a slice of Walmart cheesecake with two slices of cake on the side. Very very disappointing. Will not try again.

Shrek SFM The food was absolutely great. The chicken was juicy, the draft beer was fantastic. Our server Cassie was wonderful, she anticipated our needs. We didnt even need to ask to get a refill on water, she brought it to us. The manager Alexis would come to speak with us at times and she was a delight. Shes very light hearted and fun. She also knows salem Illinois very well and will recommend must see attractions. All in all, I highly recommend this Applebees.

Let me tell you, it blows fast food at the truck stop out of the water every single time. This is REAL barbecue, done right. The new remodel is fantastic — the building is bigger, more spacious, and feels brand new inside. They didn’t just rebuild; they upgraded. Now there’s plenty of room, new amenities, and even a line of merchandise so you can take a little piece of PCB BBQ with you on the road. On top of that, they now serve cold beer on tap and in cans, which makes the experience even better after a long haul. The food? Absolutely top-notch. The pulled pork is smoky and tender, brisket is melt-in-your-mouth, and the ribs fall right off the bone. Their nachos are a meal in themselves, piled high with queso, pork, jalapeños, olives, sour cream, and sauce — Texas-sized and Texas-flavored. Even the sides hit hard: the mac n cheese is rich and creamy, the beans pack smoky flavor, and the slaw and tater salad are fresh and classic. And it’s not just for the humans — they even sell smoked dog bones for your four-legged copilot. My Aussie loves them, and it’s a great touch that shows they really think about everyone who rolls through. The timeframe for takeout is usually 5-10 minutes behind, but he was visibly working hard and took responsibility by making sure my order was handled.
