Emily Rezek Cute little ice cream place. Lots of unique flavors, but I got the Fat Elvis Fat Elvis--a combination of banana, peanut butter, and chocolate. It was very tasty. Prices were reasonable comparatively. The location was nice as well with a park right next door. Also, they have little toys for kids to play with while they wait for their ice cream. My daughter really liked that.

Tabitha Nelson The most delicious food, no matter what you get. The Ruben and fried pickles are my personal favorite, but the wings and the blt also always hit the spot! Good size portions. We enjoy to-go, or dine in! Staff is always wonderful ❤️

Lu Bln We visited this place several times during our stay in Illinois. The food was excellent and the service incredibly friendly. Even with language barriers, the staff were always kind, patient, and very helpful. The milkshakes are amazing! It’s a special experience for tourists – you really feel welcome and at home. Thank you for the great experience!

Thomas Aaker Food and service was excellent. Attentive and friendly. It was a slow time of day but typically they always are good. Floor by counter was sticky, probably from an old spill.

Joel Sommer Maverick boasts a large buffet, and is not a typical buffet. The owner has a strong commitment quality items on their buffet, many of which are made in house. You can also order off a menu. The service is top notch, with the wait staff checking on me often and promptly removing my used dishes.. dont forget to leave room for the desert bar and ice cream. The dining is comfortable and extremely clean. I highly recommend to bring your family for a great meal. Also, locally owned business, not a franchise. I will be back!

Jason Fane Its not on the menu when I went, but the restaurant has amazing vegan options. The owners daughters are vegan and vegetarian so the restaurant is well studied in what makes great plant based meals. The vegan skillet is amazing!!! I love that i could eat a meal with my family and not have to worry about it.
