sherry schultz We came to celebrate two birthdays and enjoy dinner. Appetizers of antipasto and an arugula flatbread were both fantastic. We each had something completely different for our entrees, and we all enjoyed them. Our orders consisted of pizza, steak medallions, lasagna, and chicken risotto. All phenomenal in their own way. Portions were large and food came out hot. The view and ambiance were laid back and impressive at the same time. We were well taken care of by our server. A young lady with long blond hair, sorry her name escapes me, and also was checked on by another employee. They also served a birthday dessert and helped sing to celebrate. It was a delicious dinner and service was on point.

Derrek Line Overall a great place to visit and will return. Food options were amazing. From higher priced, better quality, to lower priced but variety of flavors, such as a wasabie slider, buffalo chicken slider, honey Dijon, endless options for all. Service was very nice and had jokes, which I always enjoy. Drinks were a little pricey, but for the area was to be expected. If in the area and wanting a light meal for cheap, this would be my go to.

Beata Kochmansli This charming Italian restaurant offers a truly delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, the cuisine is exceptional with authentic flavors, and the martinis are crafted to perfection. Attentive service and a cozy setting made our evening unforgettable. A wonderful spot to return to again and again.

Chris Stern 17th Street BBQ in Murphysboro is an absolute belter. Proper smoky meat, cracking sides, and the kind of flavour that just smacks you in the best way. The crew there are deadset legends welcoming, quick with a yarn, and proud of what they serve, and fair enough too. Tried the BBQ parfait at the Tastes of Murphysboro and it was unreal one of those “only in America” feeds that you remember long after. And yep, I grabbed a stash of their famous Magic Dust to cart back home to Australia. Used it on the barbie down under and it absolutely delivered turns out that Murphysboro magic travels pretty well. If you’re anywhere near the place, do yourself a favour and go. It’s worth every bite.

Jennifer Hughart We were traveling and stopped in because of the good reviews. I got the broasted chicken and it was wonderful! My husband got the brisket burger and it was really good as well. They had a salad bar that looked good but we didnt order that.
