4 /5 Susan Schenker: We’ve been coming here for a few years. We normally get the fried chicken, the wings or on Fridays they have really good fish. Tonight we were in the mood for burgers. This is a great burger! If you’re in the area and hungry I highly recommend.

3 /5 Kevin B: This wasn’t my favorite BBQ experience, but it wasn’t horrible. The Good: the sides were delicious. We had the fried okra, onion rings, and a side salad. All were really good and generous portions. The Ok: the BBQ was just ok. I had the pulled pork nachos. The nachos were ball park style chips and just bland. The pulled pork was overly sweet. It was a generous portion and could have likely fed two people. The same can be said about the pork steak. It was enormous. Definitely consider splitting it. The Bad: the chicken wings were crispy, but served plain with the sauce on the side. I’ve never had wings like this. The ribs could have been more tender. I felt like they were tough. Lastly, our service was horrible. The waitress seemed like she was annoyed with us every time she had to come to our table. Definitely not welcoming. I probably won’t be back based on this experience.

5 /5 M. S.: Had the best family dinner to go: Big pretzel, potato skins, a lovely half salad with ranch, two pork steak plates with potato salad, baked beans, and green beans. The salad was all fancy field greens with halved grape tomatoes, light shredded cheese and croutons. The ranch was homemade. The pork steaks were tender and covered in a deep, rich smokey-sweet sauce. The baked beans were cooked with chunks of pork and were absolutely delicious. The potato skins were nice and tender, almost sweet, with melted cheddar and heaps of chopped bacon. We are happy and stuffed. He also makes the most flavorful smoked pork and chicken that I buy by the pound to use for Brunswick stew. A++++

The staff are super friendly and polite, making the whole experience feel like a family dinner. The restaurant itself is spotless - cant complain about the cleanliness! And the portions? OUTRAGEOUS. I mean, I was stuffed to the brim and still had leftovers for days. Definitely a must-try spot if youre in the area!"
