New World Restaurant - (Near Fairfield, IL)

Ryan Rosenthal Great fajitas. I got the mixed (chicken, steak and shrimp) with corn tortilla. Warning…the green hot sauce is HOT and the red is FIRE! The table next to us got the boil so that will be next time for sure. The margarita was very tasty as well. Overall, if you are going to see a show at the Genesee, this could be a good choice for pre/post-show dinner.

Erich Curtis This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever been to. Not just in Macomb, but anywhere!! The food is amazing. The service is friendly and FAST. And the drinks are delicious! We had a burrito, fajita, enchilada, tostada, and two margaritas! (One frozen and one on the rocks. Both amazing) All of it was perfect. It arrived in mere minutes from ordering. Try the mango habanero margarita if you like spicy! It was soooo good but spicy! This place is kid friendly and vegetarian friendly. Try it if you love great authentic Mexican food!!

Rich Ray Came here after our son Navy Bootcamp graduation at Great Lakes up the street from this joint. Everything in there is good!!!! Waitresses were very attentive and polite. The bar area is great while waiting for you food. Will definitely drive back to this place from Chicago Airport next time Im in the area.

Karen Self In Dietrich for my first outing (except for doctor appts) With Auntie Gayle driving we picked up new house supplies and googled restaurants besides Subway there in town. What a neat concept! Drive thru order/ pickup and groceries to boot. Who knew?! Ate in the car in the shade, great food and a busy place!

OESTERREICH SAM (Oesfreelancing) Modern, unique, friendly, professional. These adjectives are SPOT ON! Im sure there are plenty more than can be included. These are just some right off the top of my head that I experienced during my brunch visit on November 16, 2025. . It was busy at around 9:15 Saturday morning. My wait was at least 25 minutes for a party of one. The kind hostess suggested a seat at the bar if I didnt want to wait that long. I took the seat at the bar! While there I chatted it up with other customers. We had pleasure conversations about Egg Republic in general, the owner, who was on site, and the staff. The owners rapport with his staff was wonderful to see. . Emma, the mixologist made me the most beautiful mimosa I ever saw! It was the Rose Xplosion mimosa. It was so unique from any other mimosa I ever had. It was made with a pack of Pop Rocks! I took a good picture of this beautiful masterpiece of a mimosa. I opted for the Avocado tast with two perfectly poached eggs on top. The meal was delicious. The mimosa was sexy. And the service was A+ service. . You should definately hit up Egg Republic for a fun brunch experience. You may have a bit if a wait but it will be worth it. . Cheers!

Janalee Crowell I believe this was an old jailhpuse, The decor is cool. Theres lots to look at. Bar area in front with additional area for eating in. Another room for eating. Outdoor seating. The food has always been good and the service is friendly. They also have Bloody Mary Sunday.
