No Jacks - (Near Smithton, IL)

Jack Pennoyer I went here for dinner with my friend last night and we immediately noticed how relaxed the atmosphere felt without seeming empty or too spacious. The extra room to navigate the space and plenty of lower seating was great because he utilizes a walker and requires a certain level of accessibility. The biggest standout to our dining experience other than the excellent food was our waitress, Julia. It was apparently her first day working at Barrel House and my friend and I wouldve had no idea if it hadnt come up naturally with her during conversation, she was SO good to us. We would absolutely come back again knowing that places like this clearly prioritize the customer experience and that aspect of service. Everyone else I have encountered here was awesome and polite too, but we wanted to give Julia a shoutout! Oh yeah, the chicken & chorizo soup was so good I immediately asked for another to-go!

Daniel Williams Brian and Janine and the rest of the staff warmed me with a warm welcome as soon as I entered the restaurant. They helped this hungry traveler find all the best personal selections. The food was awesome. The smiles and desert at the end was a bonus that I didn’t expect. I will definitely come back when I visit again.

Sadą Ñealey Eddies Bar & Grill was a Nice neighborhood joint right in Kankakee, IL. I joined them for lunch. Food menu was small and simple. Staff were so nice especially bartender Lee. She was friendly and sweet and made a nice margarita! I also ordered a turkey wrap with fries which were good. They even had a juke box! And of course my Dear friend played Sade. Good music nice staff and very comfortable environment which I liked the most. Prices were right! Check em out!

Dillon Valencia If there’s a restaurant that could give a master class to other restaurants, it’s Costa Bora. While I’ve only been twice for brunch, I can speak from experience that they know what they’re doing. Try the skirt steak chilaquiles and if you’re hungry get the Big Daddy! Don’t get it without La Cafe De Olla though! And if you’re looking for a good time, look no further than their Canterito cocktail! So grateful my buddy Quincy told me about this place. 5/5 all day.

Denene Lawyer Wow!I ordered delivery and the corned beef on rye was a very fresh, juicy and delicious sandwich! The sandwich was HUGE! It was definitely more than enough to make into 2 good size sandwiches. Ill definitely order from here frequently!! Thank you!

Marsha Rush The the food was absolutely delicious, the price is a little more expensive.But the amount of food you get, its worth it!!,!! My first time there, the waitress was very knowledgeable on their products made sure we had everything we needed.Also, did it to go order for me.And went above and beyond, the business was absolutely busy.. So many people enjoying wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere,, decorated with some unique nostalgia,, definitely going back, had to take some food home. Took a to go order home,, i had the reuben, friends of mine had the pony shoe, on the other one, had the smash burger and fries cant wait to go back and try both of those... The pony shoe looked amazing, got brisket and two sides to take home for another family member, the twice baked potato casserole and Mac and cheese... The only thing that I would like to see them do are sell their pulled pork or their brisket by the pound.. My to go order was the brisket sandwich, and we didnt get the bread And I like to take the smoke meat.I make like nachos and things at my house.Would love to see it sold by the pound, definitely, go back.You definitely need to try it
