Opies Bar & Grill - (Near Galesburg, IL)

3 /5 K R: Its a bar/restaurant like most places in this town. Menu items are very greasy. Nice atmosphere a little unkept cluttered around the entire bar area. Could use a deep clean. Overall not bad to go.

5 /5 Kent Merrill: My family took me here for my birthday. Cool looking bar and eating area was very nice. Waitress couldve have been better. Food was good. Reasonable priced. I had a beer battered tenderloin. Burgers looked good. Scorpion tangles ( shrimp) were crazy good. Try them.

5 /5 Amanda Cerar: Caroline has been my waitress the last 3 times I have been there and she’s been amazing every time! She is friendly, funny and is just overall a fantastic waitress. I tried the French Onion Burger today and it was very good! My only critic is that it could use a sauce or aioli of some sort, but it was still a good burger! We got the Buffalo mild boneless wings for an appetizer and they were amazing! Mixed drinks are great as well!

5 /5 Jerrica Barnes: The jalapeño poppers were amazing! We got the garlic flatbread and added chicken, and the cattleman melt. It was all very good!

4 /5 Deborah Mullins: Ok.. the food was good. The service was good. The only problem I had was the "upcharge" of 3 dollars or more if we shared food or if I chose a kids meal. I cant eat full meals. I have begun sharing my food. That also decreases waste. So, they were going to charge me more for trying to save, conserve, and not waste..... I dont like that. Also dont appreciate being charged for mayonnaise for my husbands burger and the Ranch for the fried mushrooms.. who does that? When do we charge for condiments that typically come with food? I mean, food was good and plentiful. But, they already charged a bit for bar and grill food, to be upcharging, too. Yes, it was good for a bar and grill. Not good for business practices imo. I liked it. But, would not be a repeat customer. That is why only 4 stars.
