The portions are generous for the price, and you won’t leave hungry. If you’re into margaritas, they’ve got a great selection, including a flight of different flavors for those who want to mix it up. For something heartier, try the Jalisco Special, it comes with fajita, chicken, and grilled shrimp served with plenty of food to take home. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, with enough space for any group size, whether its a casual dinner or a small celebration. If you’re in the area, definitely worth a stop!

Kathy W Tried the Steak Tacos and the Chicken Tacos, Mexican style. You get 2 tacos in an order. They were both delicious! And stuffed full of meat. The red sauce is super hot, if you like Hot. The green sauce is mild and really tasty. Washed em down with a Mexican Coke, in a glass bottle, good ole fashioned Coke taste!

Jennifer Thorne We eat here once or twice a week. Lots of locals are there just as often. Outside seating is always nice. When the garage doors are open, the fresh air inside is just as nice as outside without being on the sidewalk. They run fans when the front is open, so flies are not an issue. The food is amazing and lots to choose from. The chips and salsa are fresh, you rarely have to ask for more because they refill it often. If you want take out the amount of food you get is the same as eating there. The employees dont quit because its a great atmosphere for them. Management treats them well, and it shows in your service.

Iceland Omg we love Dave’s Hot Chicken! We live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and do NOT have one.. so when ever we are traveling we stop! It’s a must! Please build one in Grand Rapids!

Mike Biehl Was out taking photos in this area one Saturday and decided to get a bite to eat. Landed here at the lumberyard and had a great meal. The place was clean and the lady working the bar was super nice. I ordered their lumberyard burger special. It was really good burger, had lots of mushrooms and grilled onions on it. Their fryer was down so i opted for chips with my burger. One suggestion might be to look into making chips in house to go with the burgers and sandwiches. Customers can get regular potato chips at home, in house made chips add more to the sandwich, in my opinion. They don’t take credit cards, so cash is a must. They do have an ATM on site and they also have a gaming room if that’s your thing. They do offer a full service bar with beer and spirits. Great place to stop and eat if you’re passing through the area! Would definitely frequent this establishment if i didn’t live almost an hour and half away.

L. Hutton I went here while I was in town visiting family, and it was amazing! All of the tacos we tried were incredible—the shrimp, steak, and chorizo tacos were so good. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town. I also tried the quesabirrias, which I had never had before, but I will definitely be ordering them again. And to top it all off, the margaritas were great too! Thanks for such great food and service!
