Pizza Hut - (Near Carlyle, IL)

1 /5 Holly: Used to be good but now its crap. Tired of getting ripped off. My pepperoni lovers pizza is just a regular pizza. My wings had hardly any sauce. Ridiculous. So tired of spending money for crappy food. Ill order somewhere else now. Used to order weekly not anymore im done.

5 /5 Astria Porta: Stopped by on our trip to see the April 2024 eclipse. Love the classic pizza hut look both inside and out. Pizza was ready quickly, and it was hot and fresh. They even had free pizza hut themed solar eclipse glasses! 5/5.

1 /5 Lilly Wehking: We walked in and first noticed the five tables that were full of half eaten food and trash. That should have been the first warning that this wasn’t going to be a pleasant experience. We ordered four drinks, four salad bar meals, and one pizza. We were told we were not allowed to go back for seconds on dressings in the salad bar, and our drinks never showed up. We cleaned off one of the semi decent tables and sat down. After about 15 minutes we went up to the counter to get them and we were met with the woman saying that she was busy, and offered us to grab one from the fridge next to the counter with liter sodas. She did end up bringing them out though, after asking again. The pizza was brought out later and it was actually pretty good, after we found plates to eat it on (we asked for some, but were told to go get them ourselves). About three slices in we were out of drinks and no where go get a refill. Ended up chewing on ice cubes with our meal to get it down. While eating a few families walked in, took a look at the still dirty tables (it’s been there so long that the ice has melted in all of the cups) and walked straight back out. Wish we would have done that. And oh my God the flies. The flies. I actually cannot believe that we stayed there. The best part is that when we left about an hour later ALL of the dirty tables were still not touched. In the end I counted seven including ours. Giving this place one star is generous. This place is the reason we have health inspectors, one needs to show up to this place soon.

2 /5 Mike Biehl: We stopped here to get a pizza and while the dining room portion of the restaurant was not busy, they were handling delivery and carry out orders. The issue we had was we were standing at the counter waiting for someone to take our order and it was like we were invisible to the employees behind the counter. I finally had to step in and ask one of the employees if we order at the counter or do they seat us and come take our order; this was after about 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered iced tea to drink with our pizza and it was not fresh; this tea was sitting for a while. We visited this location At 8:30pm on Friday evening, August 15th. While we were trying to order one of the female employees was slamming the pizza knife so loudly, that i could barely hear the girl taking our order. And honestly it was overkill on how hard she was slamming the pizza cutting knife down on the metal table. While we were eating, the employees were more interested in hanging outside the back of the restaurant instead of cleaning up the dining room area. There were two dirty tables and the condition of the carpet was not very clean. I wouldn’t recommend this Pizza Hut unless you’re carrying out the food That you ordered; or simply find another restaurant to eat at while visiting Carlyle.

3 /5 Gina Winter: Ordered a pepperoni lovers pizza that had zero extra pepperoni’s. I also ordered 2 additional sides of marinara sauce for our breadsticks but that wasn’t received. We usually have good luck at this Pizza Hut, so not sure if it was just an off night or what. The experience was not enjoyable and certainly not worth $40+!!!
