Plaza Restaurant - (Near Benton, IL)

DANIEL LARSON Another trip out of Rockford, IL to check this place out after seeing a post and pics of a pork tenderloin sandwich, HUGE that actually looked great! So here the little sister and I go, oh, and the Frenchy and Olde Bulldogs lol. So, we arrive a bit after 7, packed, parked, took couple photos, Nikki went in and ordered, checked it out, couple pics, went back in after the food. I will say WOW, Pork Tenderloin, huge, juicy, not over done, the batter OMG, made the entire pork tenderloin. The tenderloin itself was fabulous, tender, good thickness, GREAT batter to tenderloin balance and wala, the great pork tenderloin. 9 out of 10, I have NOT rated higher yet just to make that rating clear. Now, on to the French fries, 10 out of 10, does just not get much better than these, perfect light crunch, potatoes DONE, not undercooked!!! Lastly, the coleslaw Hmmmmmm, cant get a handle on it but damn it is unique, delicious, and could almost be considered the ultimate healthy desert as well. A slight bite but sweetness overtakes but this two part backend palette taste is just hmmmmm, all together so flipping awesome 10 out of 10 on this coleslaw and lord do not change it. We will return.

Tony Natale Delicious, fresh food served in a cozy, attractive setting. I have a highly positive opinion about this owner-operated restaurant and have eaten there about 12 times over the past month. The service is great and the place (including the bathrooms) is super clean and feels upbeat. Everything I have had from the spring rolls, to its many pho options and its other menu items has been a special treat. Too bad I am from out-of-town but this place would be great to go with a date, for a work outing or a group of friends. You can bring your own beer or wine, too. Owner Leo puts a lovely personal touch in everything. A must try!

Bill Pfefferkorn Had a little slice of Heaven at Brothers Inn Restaurant, the sign says great food, trust me it is. This is a pass by town but what you do, eat at this place. Great friendly staff, very reasonable prices and great atmosphere. This is a must stop if youre in the area or even a short time out of your way. Had the Denver skillet and wife had the corn beef hash skillet which she didnt finish, good serving sizes. Happy 21st anniversary Brothers Inn Restaurant.

Paul Lohman Stopped here by chance to view the solar eclipse. We were treated, as well as 80 other guests, to brownie batter blizzards. Afterwards my group all ordered food. The employees were very friendly and made our experience a memorable one. The food was great as well. Thanks, Dairy Queen!

John Oborn Showed up with a group of 17. They had our orders and food to us almost as fast we could order it.
