Ritas Kitchen & Bar - (Near Lacon, IL)

Bradley Hull My wife and I both had an uncommon day off so we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. It was easy enough to find based on the directions we found online. The outside is just as youd expect for a bar in this area. Nothing too extravagant with a covered porch area directy out the side of the main building. We were greeted warmly upon entering and the manager Evon was polite and quick to get us out drinks. The menu is small, but they do offer a decent range of food items to choose from. Based on the recommendation from the cook, we settled on spiltting both a half pound bacon burger (medium), an order of wings (5), and a basket of fries. The burger was absolutely delicious and done to perfection. The wings, evidently a mixture of several different spices, were also quite good and served with ranch dressing. The fries were crispy and fried just right with ranch seasoning on them. There was more than enough food to fill us both and even have a few fries left over. We truly enjoyed our lunch and made sure to express our feelings to both the manager and the cook who happened to come out to the bar area while we were getting ready to leave. We really like this bar and are planning to return again to try other items they had to offer.

Jana West We have been wanting to try this for a loooonnnngggg time. We finally got the chance. I hasmd the Mac and cheese squares. Boudin balls and wings! When you cant decide, get it all! The leftovers heated up well. Everything full of flavor and fresh. The owner is so nice and you can tell he cares about his product. We cant wait to catch a soul food Saturday!

Carly Hartman Had the best Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap and Sweet Potato Fries for lunch today! Couldn’t go there without getting my favorite Banana Shake too! Yum!!

Caleb Wendt I worked just down the street from here last week and I ate here everyday for lunch. The food was always fresh and prepared quickly. The burger and fries were good. Definitely better than any chain fast food burger. Tuesday i had the archies special. I think it was better than the burger. Wednesday i had the chicken sandwich and a taco. The chicken sandwich is good. The taco isn’t worth it in my opinion. On Thursday i ate the horseshoes. I think it’s the best item on the menu.

Arlan Countryman My 1st experience left me wanting more and since then I love eating here because its affordable, simple, their waitresses are professional and very attentive, very unique old fashion nostalgic decor, and their food is so damn good I would recommend anything really and remember always end your meal with their pies!
