Riverside Bar & Grill - (Near Havana, IL)

E Stout Finally an honest to goodness "authentic" Mexican restaurant in the area! The wait staff was extremely courteous and quick to attend to your needs. Restaurant was clean and in excellent order. Salsa is made from scratch "in house"...you can truly taste the difference. My food order as well as others was out of the kitchen quickly. I ask the waitress to mix and match my taco order. Carnita tacos were fresh, tender and juicy. The shrimp taco was probably the best I ever had with a sweet honey drizzle and fresh mango. The chicken taco was tender, full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. They were all served on corn tortillas (my favorite) with a side of rice, beans and a special taco drizzle. Superb food at a reasonable price. Skip the other place down the road (terrible) and try some really fresh authentic Mexican cuisine at Maryflor.

The Mew This was my first time here on Saturday and I had an absolute blast!! Coming from Chicago the prices are on point and the Gayle’s bathroom was very clean! I love that they have a bags set to play outside! All the bar tenders are responsive when providing drinks and Mitzi has a wonderful personality! 10/10 Will be back again!!

Josh Witkowski Cool little bar / burger joint with very friendly staff and fast service. Bartender made sure I never went thirsty & the burgers were really good and reasonably priced. Decent selection of various sodas, beers and drinks, just no PBR (they do have Stag though). Well with your time and a visit if youre in the area.

C. V. (Valerie) My husband and I come here often. The food is amazing and the owner takes pride in his job. When he’s in I always see him come out and socialize with the customers and ask how everything was. Service is great, and prices are reasonable. Not too high. I love the breakfast, especially the cinnamon French toast!

Judith Aguilera Tried Lola’s Handcrafted Churros & Café and loved it! The coffee was very delicious, the churros were warm and fresh, and the service was friendly with orders coming out fast on a busy evening. The decor is super cute and cozy. Definitely a great spot I’ll be back to try more items on their menu!

Montell Fields Our whole family.went for a family fun night and we had a great time! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had some nice specials so it didnt cost much to bowl. The food was very good too! We will for sure have more family nights here.
