Rosies Pub - (Near Bloomington, IL)

Danni D I contacted this restaurant for my parent’s 49th anniversary celebration and they were the only restaurant in Edwardsville that was willing to accommodate 45 people the day after Thanksgiving. The customer service was excellent. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. My family had a great time. I recommend this restaurant to Anyone that wants to enjoy good Mexican food. Joe Lataille Beer was truly excellent and the menu was fun and creative... I wanted to try so many things. Service was friendly and attentive, but it also only moderately busy. The exterior of the building and history were cool and the bar area was nice enough. Other than that, the interior was pretty simple. Prices for beers on tap were fine, but there werent any pre-canned or bottled take-out options... only growlers and very large cans that are canned on demand. Location is fantastic in the heart of Springfield just around the corner from Lincolns home and a few minutes from the museum.

Genevieve Cepela I highly recommend this Hampton. 5 years old, it is still in great shape. The service is exceptional and very polite. The breakfast bar was well stocked. It was full when I was there but quiet.

Do Whatmakesyouhappy Stopped here on vacation with no big expectations but boy were we surprised. The restaurant is decorated old west saloon. Nice sized portions and the chicken tenders are the best I have ever had. Sweet potato waffle fries dusted with cinnamon sugar were delicious. This is part of a really nice KOA campground and there is a wonderful playground area to let the kids stretch their legs that is old west themed as well. Also on site is a putt putt course and an icecream parlor.

Lydia-Mary Livingston Hibachi was small but plentiful on additions. Once my meal was cooked the flavors paired nicely and was ever delicious. The buffet options were well displayed, fresh and on par with the hibachi. Between the usual fried entree options, salad and fruit there was so much to choose from. Moreover, the crab Rangoon was the best I have ever had. Ever felt like there is not enough creamy goodness and too much wonton? Not here. These Rangoons are extraordinary and everything we connoisseurs dream. Fully recommended.

Kevin Kelley One of the best places in town to get dinner. Food and drinks are priced very reasonably. Portion sizes are pretty big, especially the jumbo burrito. It was like nothing I had ever seen. It could have easily fed the whole table. I got the fajita burrito, which was much more reasonably sized.
