Salt and Honey Bistro - (Near Waterloo, IL)

Jeanna Lutz I went inside and got my food, there were a couple customers eating, and the place looked pretty clean… the guy working at the counter was nice when I got my food. I got a 2 for 1 chicken taco dinner, and most of my food was fine, but one of the limes was dried out, and then at the end of me eating my second taco, I bit into a little piece of red plastic, I thought it was lettuce, or a piece of tomato at first l, but it wasn’t. I called them and let them know, they apologized and offered me a refund or a replacement. That’s good customer service and the way it’s supposed to be. THIS IS THE BEST FLAN I HAVE EVER HAD!! Thanks!!

Roscoe Gaddis The catfish nuggets were fantastic. The bar has ice rail to keep the drinks cold while eating at the bar. The fries were good as well but fish stole the show. Waitress was very helpful and cheerful. Definitely worth the drive.

Princess Zelda Stopped here while driving through town and got the Pollo Yucatan. There was enough food for me to eat 3 times and it was delicious. The staff was really nice and fun to talk to

Stanley Davis Kayla was the best Waitress Ive ever had. Really good and excellent customer service. Food was delicious an hot the spot. Will be back.

Vadim Lisovskiy I strongly wouldn’t recommend driving past this place. I was heading to a restaurant following my GPS, but I noticed a sign for this spot and decided to pull in — no regrets at all. The staff is incredibly friendly, the vibe is great, and the whole place has that classic old-school American feel that really captures the local atmosphere. And the food is fantastic. Their signature pies are especially worth trying.

Elysa Stopped here on a snow day with a guest from out of town. We were seated quickly, got our drinks and orders taken within 10 minutes. We really liked the appetizer trio, but the deep dish pizza was amazing! Quality flavor overall, really enjoyed the sausage! Have to check this place out for a good slice of pizza, We will definitely be back!
