4 /5 Geetha Fisher: This is a carry out place though it states dine in. I wouldnt recommend dine in thought there seems to be a table. Even for a carry out this place looks and feels chaotic. Initially I wasnt sure if the building was a restaurant or not.
But when I walked up to the counter, that changed. Process is simple and easy. There are a variety of prepared dishes you can pick 1 entree or 2 entree meal. Portion sizes are big. I asked to stop adding more! Very generous and the lady who serves us super sweet.
My first time and I was allowed to try the different flavors. So yummy. I decided on the 2 entree - spicy beef and sour soup (pork belly).
All very authentic and flavorful. The lady even gave me some of the soup on the side. Such delish packed meal for $11.99.
5 /5 Amazing Grace: The atmosphere is a little disjointed. By that I mean theres plants, packaged breads and bands instruments in the dining room. But the food is very delicious and all home made. Authentic Filipino food.
4 /5 Ryan Christopher: The family that owns the place were friendly. I loved their lechon kawali and coconut chicken. Can’t wait to try the rest of their food. Their shanghai rolls were okay but not the best that I’ve tried. Definitely worth trying if you’re around the area.
5 /5 Dean Stenshaug: Some of the best food Ive ever had and the family is so much fun.
1 /5 Young Gg “Gg”: Open at 11 its about to be 12
I come for the pancit every other place is nasty but bruh talking about its gone be an hour until its ready ill not coming back from Gurnee for a pint ridiculous
Genevieve Sanchez Cages is clean and the waitress/ bartender was very friendly and professional. I got there early so things were quiet. Theres a pool table, electric dart board, corn hole available on request, video gaming and a outside area to enjoy. The DJ was expected at 10 and I left before that so I cant comment on the DJ.
L Grabb The food was delicious! The fried mushrooms, buffalo chicken wrap and pulled pork are a must try if you’re eating at Whiskey Bill’s. We ate in the room with the table and chairs. Definitely plan to come back.
john newquist Little town of 200 has the best coleslaw in the country. I got it five times and it is the best. Ribeye steak was delicious perfect cooked medium. The bread that comes with it is a buttered French bread and it is outstanding. Loaded mashed potatoes were filling and I couldnt even finish it. This is near the Indiana border. In Iroquois county. The drive from champagne or Kankakee or Indiana. Try the coleslaw on top of the salad with French dressing. Service was exceptional.
Nathan E. This place is amazing! Sandwiches while yes can be light on toppings as people below said, its a nice fresh sandwich that isnt too bulky and filling. The potato salad is fantastic, I highly recommend the Cajun Turkey and add bacon to it. Drive through is always super fast for 3 sandwiches and 2 sides, and the girl duo who comes to the window for orders/payments are always very nice!
It seems to me a lot of the complaints below were issues that could be easily resolved by using something modern times lack - communication. Also makes me wonder what the customers attitude and demeanor is to begin with. FIVE STARS!!
