1 /5 Sue Staley: We arrived at the Restaurant between 4-4:30 today. No staff were visible at 1st. 1 came a very pleasant server & seated us. We got our drinks. I ordered a Sirloin dinner & my partner baked shrimp. The server came back & said they had no more Sirloin, & the only steak left was NY strip. I ordered fried shrimp. She brought back baked shrimp. I reminded her it wasnt what I ordered & she clarified it with the cook. My partner ate his food & I the potatoes. My fried Shrimp finally came when we ate everything else The server was fine , but the cook messed up. And the 1st steak restaurant I have been to that was out of steak at the beginning of the shift. I don t recommend this place. We wont be going back.

5 /5 Garrett M: We really love Smokerise and feel that its a hidden gem here in town. The food is great, honestly the best breakfast and lunch meals weve had in town for American style meals. We havent ordered from their dinner menu yet as the breakfast has been so good that we just started branching out to the lunch menu which has been delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the meals are well prepared and seasoned (which I love as some restaurants in town avoid salt and seasonings embracing the bland), and the portion sizes are excellent as I can clear my plate, feeling perfectly satiated and not stuffed. The meals are well priced as well, especially for their quality. The staff have been wonderful and always make us feel welcome. For all these reasons we eat here at least once a week although we try to come here twice a week as often as we can. If youre looking for excellent food and wonderful service, Id recommend dropping by!

1 /5 Ronda Easton: I don’t like posting negative reviews for a business trying to succeed, but I feel this needs to be shared. I called ahead to ask about the buffet and was told it was a prime rib buffet and that it was open. When we arrived, there was one waitress and one other family in the building. The atmosphere was very still—minimal lighting and no background music. The “buffet” at that point consisted of a salad bar, mashed potatoes, and corn. Our waitress explained they were “working on the prime rib.” We asked about appetizers and were told the only option was potato wedges—something we weren’t informed of until we asked. We decided to have salad while waiting. About 45 minutes later, fried chicken was brought out, still no prime rib. Our waitress refilled our drinks once during the entire hour we were there. At one point, a larger party came in, and we overheard someone assisting them say that “the party was his priority.” After waiting an hour with no sign of the prime rib we were told would be there, we left $20 on the table and walked out. Communication and service were extremely lacking, and unfortunately, this experience left us very disappointed.
