Steak n Shake - (Near Lincoln, IL)

3 /5 angela williamson: Would have been a higher rating... employees were friendly, but the cash kiosk was not working. Only credit or debit option which meant going back to the car to get a CC. We were traveling & stopped for fuel. The hot food came out timely -good thing - however a very, very long wait for the strawberry shake to get the shake. Did I say a looooong time. By then the chili was lukewarmish at best.

1 /5 Kevin Farr: The service of this restaurant has really gone down the toilet. I always made a point to stop here in the past, at least twice a week or more. My schedule always allows me to stop between 11pm and midnight. Recently I noticed the lobby doors being locked early. Tonight, I arrived over an hour before close time, and the doors were already being locked. A woman with a mop in her hand announced that shakes were not being offered Tonight because they were closing and she didnt have time to make them. They were 70 minutes from closing time. Let me get this clear. There are two items on their sign. Steak and shake. So she doesnt have time to make one of the most popular items on their menue???? Why the hell are they even open? I mean, if she wants to go home rather work, then go home!!! Just keep the restaurant closed and stay home!!! I walked out! If this place is not interested in serving food, then they dont need my business. I will find a restaurant that does want my business! A woman with a mop in her hand

1 /5 Timothy Canady: Horrible experience, my Frisco sandwich was not toasted at all. I asked the gentleman to toast it, and as he walked away, he said several cuss words that other customers heard including me I asked for the manager Trenton and he could not even give us a refund what a horrible experience . Do better Steak N Shake

1 /5 Sheryl Hawley: We entered the restaurant and found out you HAVE to place your own order on a kiosk! When I went to pay, the auto tip request came up!! Now, you place your order yourself, you get your own drink, and you grab your own order at the counter, but theyre asking for a tip, and youre doing all the work. I ordered a buttery Wisconsin Cheeseburger combo with pickles and lettuce, with no onions. The top bun was cold, and the inside was covered with a chunk of cold butter! I showed the worker, and he told me it didnt melt because I ordered it without grilled onions. Would avoid this place!! Terrible everything...

3 /5 Cassie (8184): Sat in drive thru for the longest time, no service. Had to go inside to order. We even pulled up to the window, a girl looked at us and kept walking. Why even have a drive thru? My shake was really good however.
