5 /5 Dan Graff: Thai-D is a local restaurant thats been around for a long time. We have eaten there many times. The food and service is always great. It has a nice atmosphere. Great place for a meal with your significant other.

5 /5 C C: The topic of which local thai place is the best is hotly debated in my department at SIU. My cohort decided to put them to the test, ordering the same 2 meals to go(chicken pad thai. And seafood green curry spicy level 6). We did a blind taste test and all 4 of us agreed that Thai-D was the best for both dishes. It was true to the requested spiciness (the others were way too mild for a 6/10) and the most flavorful overall.

5 /5 Jackie Mae: One of my favorite restaurants. Can’t go wrong with anything you get here. Everyone is always friendly. The inside design is beautiful. Their red curry is my favorite. A beautiful combination of sweet, savory and spicy. This is also a random tidbit, but their chicken is really good. Usually when I eat out I never get chicken because it ends up tasting weird or dry etc. Thai-D is quite the opposite. Their chicken is always very soft and tastes great. The only restaurant in the world where I’ll order chicken instead of beef. And my friend who hates tofu is obsessed with Thai-D’s tofu. Truly a marvelous place! P.S. their Thai tea is to die for. 11/10 recommend trying it.

5 /5 William Lo: Im honestly kind of embarrassed that I havent shared my experience on here. Thai D is a fantastic place to eat. Food is great, service is friendly both consistent over the years. Its always busy and the staff consistently exceeds expectations. The owners are always working alongside the staff, and its just great seeing that culture. Oh! Try the fried chicken katsu, its a great addition to the protein choices!!!!

5 /5 Nolan Phillips: Got carry out. A variation of drunken noodles (pad kew mao iirc). Was absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Very nice decor. Server who cashed out my check was wonderfully informative and friendly. She was able to recommend things to do in the area and helped when ordering so as to get the proper amount of spice when asked. I will definitely be back.
