The Big Catch & Crispy All in One Foodie - (Near Belvidere, IL)

4 /5 Corey S: Nice, corner store type of feel to the place, definitely fills a void in the area since there’s not a lot of fish fry/fried chicken walk-up type of places in the area. They cook everything to order so it’s a 15-20 minute wait but they tell you that beforehand. Just be ing your AirPods or something to read if you order at the counter & want to stay & wait. Got two pieces of chicken and ocean perch with fries. The only criticism I have is the breast piece didn’t have much meat on it, but the flavor was good. They use some hot sauce type of marinade in their breading so there’s a lot of flavor even if the meat was a little dry. Would recommend getting the wings because they use some pterodactyl sized meat for those & it’s a lot of food. The perch was great once it had a chance to cool off. They use a cornmeal breading & the portion size is about generous. Good, meaty pieces of fish with a lot of seasoning. Fries were great, seasoned really well and tasted great when they were hot. Would go back again. Their menu is also enormous with a lot of different things so I wanna try more, especially the street food.

2 /5 Umm Ismail: I was so happy when I found this place. Ive been to the location twice. The first time was a complete failure. I ordered chicken tenders. The chicken tenders they sell dont match the picture on the menu. They were large pieces of chicken breast. They were fried nicely, but werent marinated, so they were tasteless. I didnt give up and decided to give them another chance. Ordered a 3 piece fried chicken (bone-in). Again, fried very nicely. Chicken pieces were massive!!! I mean huge. Not my preference and a complete turn-off. Nice service but I dont think I will be returning.

5 /5 Florentino Zepeda: I definitely would get this more than once a week. Their food is spot on always fresh. They are great at communicating if the order is falling behind but most of the times they are on track. The chicken is great for a family meal. Their tacos are amazing. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. Highly recommend the Philly!!

5 /5 Kevin Isabelle: We were in town for my daughters soccer game down the road and stopped here after the game for a late lunch. They have a nice selection of food. I had the Signature Hamburger, which tasted really fresh. My wife had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and my daughter had the chicken nuggets meal. All meals were ordered as a basket which includes fries and a drink. Overall the food was great. Inside was only one 4 seat table, one 2 seat table, and a row of 3 or 4 chairs against the window. So not really much inside seating. This appears to mostly me a takeout place.
