Jessica Bolanos We had such a great time at this bar that we ended up going twice during our short vacation! Both nights featured live music with a DJ, which gave the place a fun and energetic vibe without being overwhelming. The food really impressed us—everything was made fresh, which is rare to find at a bar. Drinks were solid and strong, with a great selection of martinis (their specialty), and each one we tried was spot on. Our waiter—who I’m pretty sure is also the owner—was incredibly nice and down to earth. You can tell he genuinely cares about the place and wants every customer to have a great experience. That personal touch really made a difference. Highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area!

Gilbert Donna (Mrs G) 8/6/23 The service was outstanding, our waitress was amazing. Very cheerful and friendly. The establishment was very neat and clean. There is plenty of seating available. The food was absolutely delicious, we decided on hamburgers. I had regular french fries and my husband chose the seasoned fries. The burgers are a ½ pound of deliciousness. The fries were perfectly cooked. This was the first place since moving to Southern IL that had Boudin Balls as an appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Tender on the inside with a light crispiness on the outside. Looking forward to having more of the Boudin Balls and trying other items on their menu. Noticed that they offer fresh pork rinds, we saw a couple plates go by, they looked absolutely amazing and the portions were large. UPDATE: 8/31/23 Went on a Thursday to try their .55¢ wings, I had the Bourbon wings. Very nice sized wings. They have a nice selection of different flavors.

Nate Heffron Had a great dinner here! We all liked the food and drinks. Our favorite was probably our appetizer (shareable cheese bites). Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Brian G This place has grown on me. The atmosphere is Godfatherish, but in a good way because its also inviting for the family. The food is genuinely good, and the service is top notch. Food order took a bit to come, but when it arrives its fresh and hot and you know it hasnt been sitting under a warming light in back. I like this place!

Route 66 Motorheads Bar & Grill, Museum and Entertainment Complex - Springfield

Lauren Wilcoxen Motorheads is everything you hope for when you walk in the door and then some. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was packed with nostalgia, Route 66 charm, and thoughtful details that make the experience feel special rather than gimmicky. You can tell this place is built with intention and heart. One of the highlights of our visit was having the honor to meet the men behind the scenes who keep Motorheads running so smoothly. Their focus on customer experience truly shows, and their passion for preserving nostalgia while creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment is felt throughout the entire space. The food was outstanding. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. A must-order is the Piston Appetizer, absolutely delicious and perfect for sharing. The pizza, sandwiches, and appetizers all delivered, and everything came out hot and exactly as ordered. Service was another standout. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Whether you’re visiting for the food, the atmosphere, or the memories, the staff makes you feel right at home. If you’re in Springfield or traveling Route 66, Motorheads is a must-stop. Amazing food, great service, and an experience that brings back the fun of classic Americana. Highly recommend. — Lauren Wilcoxen The Quaint Quarters
