3 /5 Laura Berns: THE Takeoff was recommended by a friend so we drove from anther town just to check it out. This nicely decorated local bar with a good vibe was average at best. We went for lunch on a Sunday. It was not busy, but we waited over an hour after we ordered our food. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato ketchup and pickle. That seems simple. It had cold cheese and bacon and no pickles no ketchup. I gave the cheese and bacon to my husband. It wasnt very good. My son had BBq which was excellent. My husband had a chicken wrap which was average. So the food was average and service was slow. The drinks were good. Although, They couldnt make an Old Fashion because they didnt have the ingredients. That is a simple bar drink. We will probably give them another try on a different day, hopefully its better then.
