Tomahawk Bar and Grill - (Near Du Quoin, IL)

1 /5 Rebecca Cross: If it were possible, I would give it a negative star rating. I ordered $70 worth of food and what was delivered was overcooked dark dark brown and or missing half of my order. When I called them a guy named Larry said he would re-cook the food and bring it back to me. Two hours later still didn’t have the food and they didn’t even have a half mile to drive. This was my first and only time I will ever eat anything from there. The chicken was so dry and tough. It was in edible. The pulled pork wontons were burnt. The gator bites were tough and couldn’t be chewed and swallowed. The rest of the order never arrived and I am out money. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

3 /5 Abbott BrendaLea “Prpldy”: Grandson ordered fried mushrooms and a pulled pork sandwich with regular barbecue sauce for take out for me. When I opened it it was a BLT and fried onions. The braiding on the onions was so thick and hard that I could not taste the onion and had trouble eating them . There also was not much flavor to them. Since the bacon was deep fried ( I am guessing) and all curled up. U also was not able to eat the BLT. After I called, Ruby did call back and offered to have a pulled pork sandwich ready for pick up. But since my Grandson walked across town, it was not feasible for him to make that long trek again. But I did appreciate the offer. Tomahawk, is not a restaurant for me personally, and I wont be returning/ordering from there again.

5 /5 Amie Finney: Tried for the first time and everything was amazing!!! For a bar and grill atmosphere, it wasnt obnoxiously loud. The kid working the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. Burgers and fries were cooked just right and very flavorful. The gator was great. The BBQ wings were the best wings weve had!! And we also tried the app sampler with pulled pork wontons, Mac and cheese balls, and fried mushrooms... everything was so, so good!! And the prices werent bad at all!! We will definitely be back!!
