Wildeys Country Diner - (Near Lacon, IL)

Robert Shiver I travel quite a bit- and this is one of the best steak and shakes I’ve been to- from Chicago to Texas to Florida.. This store really has a great atmosphere and good spirit. It was great last time I came, and it’s great this time I came. :-)

Margo Van Peterson Our server Gia was fantastic- friendly and prompt service. Francisco was bustling around getting people coffee and tea and clearing used dishes to make more room on our table. All staff worked together and when I asked for a to go cup for my tea, at least 3 staff members helped me. We will definitely be back to this local gem!

CHRIST1ST SL Very nice place! The owner was taking care of his fish pond in the entrance area. He knew everyone that walked in. The food was delicious & well priced. All-u-can-eat lunch buffet for $12! Had the entire room to ourselves which made a great private lunch with my wife. What else can you ask for? Will visit again, we were from Chatham, IL.

They’re an Illinois staple that recently opened a location in Kennesaw, Georgia, and Chicago natives were thrilled to get a taste of home. Folks unfamiliar with Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef, on the other hand, were busy complaining about the “wet” sandwiches. Some people just don’t get it. Funny thing is, I was driving through Illinois when I spotted a Portillo’s sign for the first time ever and decided to stop. Best decision. The woman who helped me—didn’t catch her name—was super friendly and walked me through the menu. I ordered a croissant sandwich, added hot peppers, and got the gravy on the side. Baby… heaven. And the French fries? They took me straight back to childhood. They actually tasted real. I even downloaded the app, though I missed the cutoff for the free fries—my bad. Still worth it. The restaurant itself was a whole vibe, from the décor to the energy. And let me tell you, the real surprise hit in the restroom: spotless, and it smelled fruity—like cherries. Yes, that matters. Alberto Bonilla My first time visiting a Jimmy Johns experience. The staff was very friendly and patient with me. They saw that I was looking at the menu and didnt make me feel rushed at all. The prices are on point and the subs are fresh tasting. The only negative I would say is just the fact that they dont make hot foods everything is cold. But I highly recommend this location. Btw the picture doesnt do the sandwich any justice because I opened it about half an hour to 45 minutes later

Joel Lantz Super fast carry out. The food was all fresh, hot, and delicious. The pu pu platter was top notch. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere!
