Willies Wieners - (Near Metropolis, IL)

Matt Ive tried fried pickles from so many places in the Midwest, and these just might be the best so far. They use bread & butter chips, which I love, and its the first time Ive had fried pickles with that kind of batter. They were so good! Crispy and crunchy. The drinks are also very reasonably priced. Would absolutely love to go back there if were in the area again.

James Scholtz Best potato chips in the world!!! Hard to find the store for first timers (Im not one) but finding the place is worth it. U can buy the chips Lin local stores but getting a 10 pd bag is worth it. Then go to a movie and eat all of them.

Kyu Kim Grabbed a great sandwich and soda. Bread was nice and thick and high quality turkey. Sandwich and soda was $10. Great value. Got sticky bun to go. Delicious ! Right downtown. Very quaint town

Anne Harvey Absolutely delicious. A gem of Joliet. Very much a homemade restaurant. We had the pasta dish, the spicy coconut soup, and the chicken salad sandwich. Everything fantastic. They modified the meal for my 7 year old. They had chalk to play with as well. My son says 5 out of 5!

Tom Harmon This is a WOW!!!! Please come to this amazing place!!! They are one of the best! First thing we were greeted just when we stepped out of the truck. They have a drive that takes you down to the restaurant which is on the waterfront!!! Then walked in and immediately we were greeted!!! Had a great host, everything perfect... Food I had the pulled pork with fries and my wife had the fish tacos and sweet potato fries. O the flavors!!! Even the sweet potato fries were best ever. Then to finish off the meal was a great cheesecake... Im hooked! Were hooked....

Visit date: 10/19/25 Review Post Date: 10/22/25 3 of us were out celebrating my birthday and my friend had suggested rolled ice cream - upon a google search, we found a spot open until 10PM. We arrive around 9:30- I’m lowkey having anxiety since it was closer to their closing time & as a daily worker myself, dread when you’re longing the end of your shift and want to be done! We ordered around 9:36 & we had 3 beautiful rolled ice cream cups. And believe me when I say ABSOLUTELY. WORTH. THE. PRICE! & although it took me da couple days to write this review. I have thought about this delicious dessert, thee entire time!! John was extremely kind as well!
