5 /5 Jeremiah Griffin: On an afterthought on my day I began a quest for a proper Chicago dog, I stumbled upon Zaes and let me tell you, it’s the real deal. The lunch special is a steal, and the staff? They’re so friendly and helpful. The menu boasts far more than just hot dogs—though let’s be honest, I was here for the main event. Their Chicago dog, dragged through the garden with all the fixings, was a nostalgic ride. And the fries? Oh, those golden beauties deserve their own fan club. They make fast-food fries look like sad, soggy impostors. Dont waste your time with a chain, this place is a must-visit for Chicago dogs.

5 /5 Michelle Schroeder: To say the least I was way beyond disappointed ordered what I thought was a Chicago dog, I just simply asked for no relish and peppers, when I retrieved my Chicago dog from the window, I asked where my tomato and pickle were, the lady smiled and said oh we dont have any. I was charged $9.00 and should have been told upfront if ingredients were NOT available, before I paid, instead of asking for a refund, I just accepted the Supposed Chicago dog as is and walked back to my place of work to eat. When I bit into my hot dog, it tasted and looked as though it was not even cooked, I pitched it into the garbage. Unfortunately, I was not able to go back and ask for a refund because of being at work during the Sycamore car show. But I would like for management to reach out and refund me. I am including photos of what my supposed Chicago Dog looked like.

5 /5 Kyle OBoyle: We stopped here on the way home (5 hr road trip) because we were craving some delicious Chicago and chili dogs. It doesnt matter if its Milwaukee, Anna Maria Island FL, or in this area we are always on the hunt for that tasty Vienna Beef dog...and we were 100% satisfied here. The cheese curds were delicious and the fries that come with all hot dog orders were hot and perfectly seasoned. The owner was so friendly and incredible! She even gave me a free small Italian ice because I ordered one each for my kids. The lemon Italian ice was a refreshing treat on a warm day. The food truck in the lot with picnic tables to eat was perfect for us to get in and out. The food was perfect, service was over the top and quick! If we are in the area again I will for sure be trying out their polish which someone was eating next to me and it looked really good.
